so first I am wondering if they reset our stuff after this beta and also .... if I pre order from steam can I link both account or do I start from nothing and have to re download from steam ...

According to Live Chat - they will be deleting all progress made during the Beta. This includes characters, customizations, items, and mission progress.

I've used CD keys from Steam within Trion's control panel and forgot about Steam till next interesting game release.

so did you add the game to your steam list too and you could add it also on trion site ? im a little confused with what you did

u register the key at trion site.

I recall them saying somewhere that there will be a option to "link" steam and trion accounts later.
