Agreed. Duping is usually game breaking, some just can't see it, and if they can't it's not worth the effort to try and explain.

most likely they imported the old database into a fresh server.
in that case this could (already did) take a very long while. expect a rollback to the point server got down for 1.020 update.

and yes im experienced with MMO on the server side, you are just a few lines in a SQL database.

As I just posted, there are no real overpowered weapons in which being duped would break the game. All of the weapons in Defiance are pretty balanced in positives/negatives to the weapon. It's not like there are weapons similar to the Infinity Pistol as in Borderlands 2. Even different rarity of the same weapons don't do much of a difference. I have a white, green and orange Nano-Fragger shotguns, and all the stats are exactly the same, with the bonus on the higher rarities not making a huge difference on which one is better to use.

your right scar there are no realy good weapons in the game "anymore" thay nerfed the hell out of them all lol there were some nasty shot guns but no more. my only question is what is going to happen in the fights were you are gitting hammered with a butt load of monsters and even the "op" guns have a hard time keeping up ? we have been in the fights were there is a monarch 4 to 5 warriors archers and spitters all hitting at the same time

That's exactly what I'm saying. They've nerfed any guns better than average, and give a low ammo count, whether clip or total ammo, to the rest of the weapons (Detonators/RPG's) that it's really not even worth using those weapons most of the time. In fact, give us OP weapons and let us dupe them for a day, just to add a little variety!

Okay, that makes more sense. I didn't even think about the Defiance Store being the stuff that's duplicated. When it said "Duplicated Items" I just assumed if you pick up one weapon, you pick up two of them. Or it would randomly duplicate items already in your inventory. And I already knew that duplication Borderlands style was not available in this game.
