Now they have an unofficial ETA for an official ETA, that's nice.

The problem here is the Dev team has a serious quality control issue. If this had happened once, and that was it, people would probably be a little (a LITTLE) more complacent about it... but it happens every time they send out a major patch.

They're setting a really bad precedent for themselves, and ruining Trion's reputation in the process. This hurts their future endeavors: Archeage is on the horizon; how many people won't touch it because Trion is handling the U.S. end of things as a result of what's happening with Defiance?

    +1 to this
I certainly won't be touching it for a while at least, give it time to pan out.
After spending all that money on the founders edition I get left out of the founders for defiance 2050, thanks guys.

True. But people didn't dish out cash for the show.

I know I will keep playing the game, but I also know that after the experiences I have had with this game I am unlikely to give them more money for anything, let alone a whole new game.

    2 cents

This game seems a lot more buggier(?) then most games. It almost feels like I am playing the beta. Does anyone know the true reason for this?

Regardless, I am proud to stick with Defiance (game) because its fun, of course, and I feel like I'm contributing to the game's future. Hopefully it is a long one.

From what Sledge told us last night when he popped into KTAM's Mumble, he saw the QA guys going through the patch and it looked good but he couldn't give us a 100% that there would be no issues. Because that's not his job. As Merrin said, he is just the mouth piece and has a lot going on that he can't sit by and handhold everyone on the team.

The beta and alpha testers have said a few times that it played better then.
It is buggier.....and it seem to be getting "more and more buggier".
