SNIP...of a good explanation of part or all of the process as far as I can tell..
I'm not a coder at all, not do I play one on TV. But I do know a thing or 6 about troubleshooting (like that trouble tends to shoot BACK...), and this is really reminding me of the big patches on WOW...where it also took them eight hours or so after the patch came out to stomp out all the bugs hiding therein and get the production servers back online. I was not happy with Blizzard then, and I am not happy with Trion at the moment.
Trion, I do NOT want to hear that you just laid off the coder responsible for this patch, and/or that you can't get hold of said person because s/he's on vacation over the long weekend !
This is quickly turning into a great case study on how NOT to launch a video game IMO !
