So this waiting on the servers reminds me of the whole hurry up and wait game we are all use to in the military

16 years ADAF 1N4, 3 combat tours, and soon to be medically retired as P&TD. I'd still go back into the fight if they'd let me.

Honored to join all and any in remembering those who gave even more in sacrifice for our great nation.

Good to see so many vets. I was 11B and 13B. I starfed with the 6th light infantry and spent time with the 19th Special Forces along with tours in Iraqi.

I think there's more Combat Medic deaths than AF Pilot deaths. When's the last time an Air Force aircraft went down? Marines have a variety of Osprey's that go down more frequently than others, but Blackhawks and Chinooks go down occasionally, Apaches and Kiowas, not so much.

LOL IKR? I was just thinking about all the lines the other day. Not to mention waiting on the flight line to take off but can't because some dumb *** in the state department doesn't want to step on anyone's toes. Sat in my seat strapped in for 8 hours for nothing. Makes this seem pretty laughable.

My claim took over a year even though I was placed on disability and retired while in the military hospital and then I was transferred to a VA hospital. Spent my first four years of retirement in a VA hospital. Sigh.... This was back in the 90s
