why arent player names/titles showing in game anymore?

is this a bug or on purpose that i dont see player names anymore? it was really much better when i could see names and titles of players, hope they bring back the names/titles soon

I thought it was only when we had our headsets plugged in could you see our names? Otherwise it was blank....if I am missing some way to show everyones please tell me lol

i'm not sure how long you playing , but early after release you could see player names and titles from people , this isnt the case anymore and started after the patch that was delayed for ps3 , the one that removed keycodes from random street events

lol if i want to know who is near me i click on nearby players or whip out my bmg

So at release everyones name and title was above their character at all times? I would like to see that again. Makes it feel more like an MMO. Plus would make me talk to people more.

Yes, they were, now it can be hard to tell if that is a player or enemy, with some of the outfits.

i agree , it was so much better before , now when i see a blue dot on my radar near me i know its a clan member but need to open the nearby menu to actually see who it is

I wondered this myself. I see the occasional person with a name/title, shouldnt a name be on everyone? and then give us the option to turn on/off the rest of the stuff. Like name only, or name + title or Name + clan, or name + title + clan.

During the 50 minutes the game was up after 1.02 I noticed they had fixed this problem. If the player does not have a mic you have to put your cross-hairs on their avatar. This allows you to see their information. Avatars with mics are still always up.
