This is along the same lines of something I posted in another thread. Looks like all of those layoffs were a bad idea. More bodies working on the problem typically means a faster resolution.

I bet it was more the Peon's and creative thinkers that got the boot then the actual Dev team. They just do what they are told to build but I could be wrong.

No you could very well be right. They could still have all of their people who work on these kinds of things. I was more saying what I did for entertainment purposes than an actual reason for server downtime.
