New to defiance have a question I'll answer if I can.

I'm pretty sure the way it is supposed to work is you put a veteran mod on a gun with veteran. However as I hear these other mods are in the game but have not been set to be obtainable yet.

weapon synergy can also activate depending on the weapon sets. ie...brutal shotty and brutal pistol to activate as a set

Yes the more mod's you have if they are veteran mods in a weapon tagged veteran and with the class veteran gives the gun greater bonus's. Its progressive almost like slot wheel more matching you have the better it is.

well you can whisper them /whisper "their name" or by just connecting up a keyboard to the 360 now and hitting enter and typing.

I think you still have to turn off area mute, because it is muted by default for some reason.

some weapons cant remember which do have to be a matching set to get bonuses
