Sorry if this is a repost. It's something that's been worrying me for a while now. This game is great and I want to continue watching it grow and evolve but I'm worried that it will just wither away with the new systems right around the corner.
Someone please tell me that everything will be ok and that I can play forever!!!!
Oh shtako.... just blew my mind... I hadn't thought of this...
current gen systems don't go away the minute a new one shows up. Devs will still support and make new games. Though that usually only lasts for about 2 years

Its online init and the xbox one will enable the use use of 360 disks ( ive been led to believe ) so nothing will change you will still be able to play. But dont quote me lol i'm simply trying to think logicaly.
I was reading that the vp of Xbox's euro branch was quoted as saying that it WILL NOT be backwards compatible.

I'm not impressed by Xbox one or Ps4 yet. For hardcore gamers I don't think they will play them much. They will buy them but they will collect dust for first year of their life.

Agreed for the most part. I'm really excited to see what's up with the Witcher 3 and Destiny. Probably only two games I will play.
ive been led to beleive xbox one WILL NOT be backwards compatible what so ever. even arcade games. also the new systems will be awesome. at least 16 times betor than the systems we are playing right now. any one not impressed is simply upset they have to save up a bunch of money for a new system
