Yeah, I never figured out how to get the umlauts and accent marks, and frankly... don't care enough to change that. Only pretentious wiener-slingers will correct that. Don't get me wrong, I'm a stickler for grammar, but that's a little far.

You never did say from the picture thread regarding the Mets, are you a NY transplant to VA or perhaps from the Tidewater area where their farm system was? I'm from NY but also lived in Va Beach when I was younger and went to the Tides games.

Kidding. Both are awesome guesses, and close. Believe it or not, my dad was actually the head athletic trainer for the Mets for a long time. We live in Virginia, so it's not a tough leap to guess how Tidewater was his logical step. I always liked the Mets, but the funny thing is, my dad was always a Yankees fan!

Addendum: getting to personal k now Doc Gooden and Darryl Strawberry, Lee Mazzilli, so on and so forth, really helps solidify a kid into being a Mets fan, hahahaha.
