I totally agree with you OP. This has to be the first thread in weeks that i have seen with people that actually praise the game as much as i do. Its hard to find a thread with positivity on these forums as of late. I have had issues with patching and having to reinstall the game 3 times. But i still love it. You wont even hear me complain. $60 is nothing, plus the $50 or whatever (i didnt care at the time) i spent on the deluxe upgrade. All that compared to what this game has given me, it is money well spent. I got my moneys worth for sure.
My wife is happy i havent bought another game since Defiance came out and i dont really care to play any other game at this point. Defiance has hit that spot that so many games just cant do nowadays.

I am content with Defiance. Trion is my savior. I got tired of playing MMOs at my computer. I wanted to relax and kick back after work. I wanted to play an action game with shooter mechanics like Call of Duty. Just not Call of Duty, my season pass can kick rocks now. I wanted to play with and enjoy it with friends. If not friends, then just other people that are as addicted as i am at 3am in the morning. I wanted to play a game that reminded me of my childhood and why i simply love playing them so much.

Defiance has done all of this. Its almost as if the Gaming Gods answered my prayers. So the complainers can have their cake and eat it too. Im going to be enjoying every minute of this gaming milestone while you sit at your Xbox 360 wondering what to do now.

Agreed. I told a friend last night: As frustrated as we are that we can't play. They're likely 1,000 times more frustrated that they can't fix it faster. All's well in Merilee land this morning. Hit the forums while waiting for the patch to download. See you at the next arkfall.

As a Canadian I am able to translate this to the traditional passive aggressiveness we are known for.

He's really saying. Holy Shtako the dev team on this game SUCKS. They're not getting any more than the $60 I paid for the lowest level of the game. Because I am Canadian I am smart and play it safe and it worked out for me in this instance.

It doesn't take much to entertain me so this is an adequate game until Destiny comes out.

yeah with it being no subscription fee. I've already gotten my monies worth. I took back Call of Duty Black Ops II a day before I bought this one.

I got Black Ops 2 the day it came out, and have played like 3 matches lol. It's a coaster
