So, either than Dream Theater, what kinda metal do you normally listen to? Normally I listen to thrash, heavy metal, some prog (Tool mainly), some melodic death, and some folk metal. I've also recently started getting into Stoner Metal.

Edit: I also love power metal.

    Tesseract - Progressive Metal
Found in the Fallen - Deathcore
    The Battle Within - Deathcore
Slice the Cake - Progressive deathcore. A mix of the two so to say.
    Greeley Estate - Metalcore

    I'll throw in another.

Sarkophagus - black metal? Not too sure.

    Teseract is considered progressive metal?

Well I guess I can see it being basic progressive metal, definitely better than most ****. I also recommend teseract.

As well as periphery while we're on the topic. Which is kind of prog rocky as well.

When I'm not listening to dream theater (which Is rare) I listen to

    Megadeth

    Born of Osiris

    Periphery

    The contortionists

    Animals as leaders

    And Stevie ray Vaughn.
