    I miss the original akimbo models from COD

    Been playing PvP, Freight Yard and Shadow wars, gave up on the shotties. Still annoyed about the change, but coping just fine. Reminds me of COD, when they nurfed the akimbo models. Still think they need to adjust the infectors, but at this point I would rather Trion concentrate on other issues. Game has been crashing a lot more since this last patch.

    I couldn't agree more! I had an epic FRC heavy with three level 3 mods on it that went from 165x12,20clip to 165x8,7clip. I only play pve and though I have tried loads of different combinations of shottys since the nerf I can't find any I like or that are effective (even with armour no basic enemy should take more than 3 shots IMO).

    I don't feel they were overpowered as even with all my mods the gun still took forever to reload and I now feel as though I wasted mods that I have not came across again. I feel cheated. I do agree they should maybe have different modifiers for pvp and pve.

    Leave it as it is Trion, the less shotgun whoring the better, now deal with the super long range homing infectors and it will feel a bit more fun to play

    and the x1.05 and x1.10 magazine bonuses they replaced the +magazine bonuses are for the most part effectively broken as most shotty's (and all scatterguns) have a magazine capacity of less than 10,

    1.05/1.10 multiplied by less than 10 equals less than 1, can't have less than a shot in the clip

    renders those bonuses useless!!!

    Yeah this nerf was so stupid, FRC users sacrifice. The slower reload, fire rate. For that bigger damage output. It also has a wider bullet spread making this weapon, imo best for, point blank fire. Gives other users plenty of time to react. This nerf really needs reversed, the mag size nerf. Was completely fine. Giving us more times reloading, being vulnerable

    Bump i have legendary shotgun since ego 456 heavy scat... and took 2 shots and had 16 shots in it i could go through entire teams with it now it takes 3-4 shots and only holds 6 shots im lucky to take out 2 people before i have to reload

    Don't forget the Votan Auto Fraggers guys! This gun would (before someone fell on the idiot button) fire three shots in quick succession and then the user would have to wait a daft amount of time to shoot again. This was a lovely balance of power an patience, meaning that anyone who used it had to time their moves just right to get all three shots to hit and make a kill.

    NOW -- the 'burst fire' just isn't. The 'burst' is now only as fast as a normal TACC Auto but every three shots you must wait two shots worth to fire again. I'm sorry dev team but this is forcking stupid and that whole branch of shotguns has been rendered useless in every possible situation it may have seen benefit to the user before.

    With the new and improved votan auto fragger, I feel it would be more effective to run around with and old horse strapped to your back who coughs as slowly and infrequently as the new vot auto can shoot!

    many guns in the shotgun family have been destroyed due to this patch and i think all of them need to be reverted back to what they were before. they were not OP, they did what they were intended to do, kill people up close. DEVS please read this thread and change our guns back to what they were (PLEASE)
