PC and XBox gets a sale on Bits, but not us. No answer from Trion Why.

Thanks Sledge, but I have to ask them: Why wait? It creates a bad attitude and feelings for the company. I'll bet their sales of bits evaporates until they make good on the promise. Poor marketing.

The PS3 players will have a Bits sale in the future. It will be identical to the current sale.

We have a sale in the UK but its far from identical.



Sorry about quality took it off screen with my phone. We get no 25% on the lowest bit pack and our highest pack only offers 30% where the blog offers double bits.

Just out of curiosity how many bits dose $5 USD get you?

I hope its a lot less then the 500 we get for £4.79 UK or else were getting ripped off just on exchange rate alone.

It doesnt ****ing matter if we get a similar sale in the future as that is not the damn issue here. The point is is if the sale cant be given to all "3" at the same ****ing time then no sale should be done in the first place period!

If its Sony, Microsoft, PC, I dont give an invisible **** who that is causing a hold up for such a thing, then the WHOLE thing should be placed on hold until it can be released at the same ****ing time on the same ****ing day end of story. That is how good business with (surprise) happy customers is about. Its the principle damnit.

I started a thread a while ago titled "I feel bits are overpriced" and low and behold one of my ideas (Dont be ignorant Im not saying I and I alone am the reason or why it is now taking place) is coming to fruition. One of my ideas being have a type of weekend special where you get twice the bits for the same price. Its posted on the thread I started a long time ago check it out for verification if you need it. The point is they should have 2x bonus for ALLLLLLLLLLLL bit purchase options not 25% here or 50% there or what the **** is wrong with you % over yonder.

The blame isn't purely on Trion's head. PSN isn't set up very well for developers to offer spontaneous sales, or adjustments to DLC contents. Mass Effect 3 saw the same issue with their limited time packs and even the free rewards for completing the weekend events.

Not saying Trion's faultless and trying to fall over myself to apologize for them. There's something funky about Sony's process that makes things go slow, so any short-duration limited-time DLC thing tends to not happen on PS3 without tons of forewarning.

Who gives a **** if we (ps3) owners get it the same time as the others, who cares if its released for all 3 at the same exact time because I don't know about you but I only play it on one system and could care less about the others. let them enjoy their sale... we will get ours.

$5 USD gets you 400 bits. Pretty s****y that armer cost 880 bits and the helmets are like 240 bits and up.

Personally, I don't give a crap. They can hold special events for each platform whenever they want. Having exclusive deals and events is part of owning different platforms.

yeah, I spent a 20 spot a few days back for bits and wasn't too happy with the stuff I was getting from lockboxes etc. I don't like the "mystery bag" concept in mmo's that play on the psychology of the every day joe/jane. I saved some bits for loot bonus, but at this point the luster of the game has worn off for me. I'll probably check in every now and again to get my 3rd person shooter assault rifle fix, but this isn't going to be my "go to" anymore. I've got a backlog I'd like to get to, and when I choose defiance I end up signing off after a couple hours more frustrated than with a sense of accomplishment. I really don't like the lack of support for the ps3, and this promotion is basically saying pc-1, xbox-2, ps3-when we get to it/if we get the time. This was my first foray into a mmo, and i'm glad I got the experience. Now to my backlog, but first probably a long overdue playthrough of dark souls-because I really do need to feel a sense of accomplishment when I play a game. But this mmo has gotten me excited for final fantasy xiv arr, so I guess Defiance was a nice learning experience.

By then they would nerf the AR to and miss out on this mirage of a cough good game cough.
