Xbox 360 Hackers? WTF?

Sounds like the game allows mods, wouldn't be the first time this happened on the 360. Sounds like the shield mod from Borderlands, and I think there was complaint about mods on CoD at one stage.

Another reason I steer clear of PvP, why bother playing a game if you're going to be unsporting like this, only reason I can think of is that they were only after Achievements without the hassle of dying. Then you have the ones who spam detonators and cloak..... yeah so much skill involved there.

It's not a HACK!! I call it the god glitch. I have it. I've never brought it up cause I like it ;-). But a certian weapon shield combo keeps the cloak shield recharge engaged. Good luck finding the combo I did it by accident. I can take about three times normal damage. Ego 3400 keep playing you'll figure it out!!

No I play between 3 xboxes at three different locations. Just as with ALL mmo's all character info, including equipment is stored server side. That is why you can log in anywhere and still play with your character. If your character was actually only saved on your machine, you couldn't do a full removal , then reinstall and still have access to your toon. One thing the 360 is missing is a packet sniffer. In order to manipulate 90% of the content in any mmo you need access to packets. On to contrary VERY FEW hacks/mods exists for xbox games. The majority of the few that exists will only run on a jtagged box which is russian roulette every time you log on.

Which has nothing to do with what I said, or how the game even works.
Your character save is SERVER side. Weapon values, health and shield values are stored in the INSTALL and can be altered easily. Which is why there are hackers on even the the console versions of the game.

Why not create a list of gamer tags that are currently exploiting so you know not to PvP them?

We really do not have a choice. Do not know whos going to be in a match with ya until its too late. As well, other peeps have warned me about putiing IGN in forums here.

Incorrect. Weapon values. Shield values. Health values. These are stored on your machine. They are client side, not server side.

Like a lot of posters on this thread, I suppose that others exploiting the "glitches" in the PVP portions of the game are the reasons why I don't even venture into those parts of the game. It utterly disgusts me. I don't play Shadow -"Run me over with the ATV" -Wars either.
I don't blame anyone for exploiting a glitch, someone will always find a way to get over on someone else so why not do it first, right?

What someone that knows how to do it should do is post it in big letters in here and tell everybody in the game's area chats how to pull it off. Then you get a never ending PVP instance where everybody is superman and the Devs will take it seriously.
