I find it a bit pointless myself. Think there should be an option to turn it off, and most probably will be at some point.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's stupid and it IS kinda nice to have the time on there where I can see it... and if it's in other MMOs I wouldn't know, cuz not normally my thing... it just struck me as relatively absurd and unneeded, then I actually thought there might be an in-game purpose I didn't know about so came here.

In game purpose is for you to look and see when to go back and check new vendor specials. Example: New vehicle vendor specials hit every 20 minutes past the hour.

Np It's much better to have a clock on screen then it is to have to keep checking your phone.

It may also be used for the co ops where u have a certain time to beat bosses for pursuits. I mean for thise that dont feel like setting a stopwatch on their phone or something.

I like how a bunch of people ignored me saying I wasn't complaining to tell me I was complaining or assumed it hit a nerve instead of noticing I was mostly kinda joking around but genuinely asking why bother at all with it.

However, got some answers. Didn't really think about the amount of time on sales, time for pursuits... as I kept asking what the purpose would be in the game, I've gotten answers that make complete sense and justify it in every way, lol. So thanks, got it.

I've got a phone, a wristwatch, a tv that I can set to display the time on the screen if I wanted, I've got a clock on the wall, etc. Cheers to those that like it, but I'd like the ability to turn it off. I don't need more clutter on the screen that is in no way related to the game telling me things I already know or at times I don't want nor need to be reminded of.
Nice option to have but that's what it should be, an option.

I kind of like the clock as well, though I'd far prefer my last perk slot wouldn't keep unequipping.

Totally agree, would be a nice thing for an option to turn it off... but honestly, I'd like the option to turn all or more of the heads-up stuff as well if that came up, cuz those times where the game loads and briefly takes a bit to display the HUD and stuff, I can't help but notice how pretty it is with nothing but the character on screen. Just a personal preference, though.

Yes +1, as if we need more HUD to clutter our screen.
