battlefield 3 released at £40, I bought it in a sale a month after release for £10.
if you want to buy a game at launch you will pay full price, if you don't want to pay full price you wait for one of these offers to pop up.
so really if your annoyed by a sale price you have no one to be annoyed by other than your self, as it is well know this happens with every game.

steam almost always has a 4 player pack for multi-player games, they did it with borderlands, borderlands2, magicka, Brink...dead island.. pretty much anything with multiplayer they offer a bulk discount for.
Your Challenger won't drive? You're probably in the passenger seat.
Can't sell/delete an item? Check all of your loadouts, it's likely still equipped.
Auction house? Why? It'll just render bits purchased lock boxes pointless, and weapons are mostly equal anyway.
Gear/enemy progression? No thanks, it'll only render 90% of the content trivial when you reach the highest zone.
This is why you don't preorder gamesJust buy em a month later for a much cheaper price.
ps3 is only $10 off so I don't feel so bad, it would have saved us $20 but still...
