True, the spawns are terrible, mainly because the map design is awful and they have fricking insta-spawning. However, I do not agree with the power weapons complaint. Power weapons have been a huge part of Halo's combat. As a matter of fact, there isn't enough of a focus on power weapons. This was caused by the custom classes rendering weapons on the map all but moot.
I agree whole-heartily. Halo 4 spurned alot of the old fans of the actual gameplay. The question now is if those fans will be smart and not buy the next one, or buy it out of some misguided sense of loyalty, much like the Resident Evil fans continue to do. As for Reach 2, it doesn't have to be called that; It could have just continued the tradition of using named titles as the spin-off games, much like Halo Wars and Halo 3: ODST. And Reach was merely glassed, not outright blown up. They could (technically) have a game take place on it now. Also, Reach didn't tell you anything about Chief's team. Chief's team actually wasn't even mentioned in the game, even though they were on the planet. Reach was about a new, previously unmentioned team. Hell, aside from Jorge, Noble Team wasn't even S-II's. They were S-III's wearing modified and prototype variants of MJOLNIR Mark-V armor.Halo 4 was a big let down and i think it will have lost more fans than gained. I was a ps fan then bought my first xbox after playing halo 1 on a mates just for halo 2 and bought the 360 mainly for halo games but will not be going out of my way for 5.
Like your idea for the start of reach and agree with your comments on cats death but you cant have a reach 2 the planet is destroyed at the end. The whole point of reach is to tell the story of how master chiefs team of spartans died and the planet was lost. You cant meet master chief because hes not on reach hes away making halo 1. They should make a new odst game this could be set anywhere in the halo universe and could give you your modern military shooter. This is what i want
