Why don't Canadians get the same bit sale as American users???

I recently got an e mail from Defiance telling me about a great bit sale going on may 24th weekend. I was excited to see the deal of double your bits when purchasing 5,200 bits. Then I jumped in game to find out the deal is only for American users and the Canadian users get a 30% bonus not double..
Why is this???

Canadians do get the sale, it's just the sale happens at a later date for ps3 users..

Edit: for Xbox the 500 bits have no bonus
The 2000 bits have 35% bonus for 2700
The 5000 bits have a 108% bonus for 10,400

Incorrect. I was at the Friday Trionworlds livestream, Sledge said PS3 users are getting the SAME bonuses, at a LATER date. It's probably a Sony thing, and knowing Sony, it'll be on a lousy Tuesday, NOT the weekend.

That 30% is normal. You normally get the 5200. If you looked at more than the big numbers, here's how it goes.

800 bits is basically $10 equivalent. So upwards of $50, it's more or less 4,000 bits. Since the game's release, they give bonuses for people who spend more than the minimum value of bits for purchase, so instead of 4,000 for 50 dollars or whatever equivalent you live in, you get 5,200. The values are standard, it's just now they're showing how much extra value you get. There's nothing special about it otherwise.
