Any oranges from arkfalls yet?

i have a bunch of oranges,but not from arkfall at least i don't think...i have the slugger,the magnum,and today from the arkfall i got a badass grenade launcher,purple,with outlaw synergy. can't wait to use it tomorrow. i do not want the damn oranges if anyone is interested in buying either the slugger which is a combat shotgun with 2 mods i think and the orange magnum,but i do like it for now. if they are able to be sold,and you want to talk,send a PM. also have a bunch of pistols,purples,and some bio shotguns and snipes. i would have to look to be sure what they are coming with

I don't think you're realizing that oranges are a form of rare currency among players.

Ever play Diablo 2? SoJ come to mind?

EDIT: There are also those, like myself, that hold out hope that one day Trion will fix the items they keep breaking, and/or replace the useless stat rolls (absolutely no bonus, Ex. Single Mag Rocket w/ +FireRate) on certain weapons.

lol Dont go holding your breath mate. I have one orange that I got from a t3 lockbox at about EGO 700 ish and to be honest it isn't that great. Its a VBI SMG, and I used it for about 5 minutes before changing back to my trusty clustershot. People should realise that oranges aren't that special.

I'm more interested in getting a synergy mod set for my purple clustershot or blue heavy assault carbine than getting an orange. I get the feeling too many people think that getting an orange weapon will make them invincible. Some people are in for a disappointment.

First off, my apologies for not finding a "real" orange weapon. If that was an orange clustershot with stats compatible with what you wanna do with it, I guarantee you wouldn't be saying oranges were overrated. Try an orange Saw with Syphon. Then you will see why those things are almost priceless.

I agree that some oranges are worse than even blues (like a sniper with brutal and melee bonuses), but then you get that right one and you never wanna turn back (like my AR or a 0.0 frag or clusternova)

The guy I traded for it probably thinks he got the deal... I believe I traded fair. Dude knew what he had, but not quite. IMO, it is worth an Oj SAW. (Especially combined with my Ironclad Reloader.)

While I agree that orange weapons don't make you above and beyond the competition, the reason his orange isn't that good is because it's level 700 EGO....thats pretty low level for a gun. The difference is that the EGO 700 orange gun he has is better than the purple/blue/green/white of the same level EGO. So....it IS a good gun for the level it is. However....orange guns as you get higher and higher become even better...the bonus abilities get better and better and an orange has like 3 or 4 of them. Around level 1600, you will start seeing better bonuses and even whites and greens will have them, but the mod slots are taken away and have to be opened(lots of ark salvage). BUT...if you want to spend the ark, you could have an orange gun at level 4000 that has 4 good bonus abilities, and 4 good mods..level the gun up and you have ANOTHER bonus ability. Thats a pretty badass gun....I'm looking forward to being in the 4000-5000 range.

From what I've read, from 1600 to around 2500, the mods are mostly locked and need to be opened...I'm okay with that because they have better bonus abilities,...and more of them per gun. I guess peoplea are saying around 2600 or so, the mods start coming back to the guns. I think it goes through this cycle a couple more times until you reach 5000

When you hit 4000, all mods slots are unlocked. I'm 5000, and all the weapons I get are all unlocked mod slots. All have a Synergy. And yes, Gold weapons at 3000, 4000, and 5000 get better.

yeah my orange slugger isn't like the grind fragger i use,but it's awesome to hold an orange...and the magnum is badass too,but i don't like pistols all that much...and yes orange is a status symbol...i wouldn't sell for less than 55k....it's easy too make money anyway

Then why sell it for script at all? If you sell an Oj for Script, someone took advantage of you.
Hold them till you can trade for Ark Salvage, or trade them for other Ojs (Or a few purples you want). It has already been stated that you will be able to trade Salvage in the future. I'm sure you will be able to get more than 1,250 salvage for a trade.

it's just a thought...and we are talking about "SCRIP"...nobody can take advantage of someone that is on level terms during negotiations guy. besides if you want to "take advantage of me" come up with the proper "scrip" and get in line.

Why would anyone now go to you knowing you will charge an exuberant price? (as you should) They will now talk to the people willing to sell for much less.

Better way to explain it:

Say you found a dinosaur skull on your property. Well there would be all kinds
of people that would buy it, from everywhere all around the world, sometimes for exuberant
prices depending on the quality and type of skull.

Say you were looking to acquire a pterodactyl skull. Of course your going to
look for the best quality skull, but you might accept something that's chipped.
You might have to offer an outlandish price and still not get it. You may never
get it for any amount of money.
But, if you were to offer another dinosaur skull, or a set of dinosaur bones and
a Sasquatch skull w/ a few "authentic" squatch hairs, you have a much better
chance to get the pterodactyl skull.
