Simply this. Vote with your dollar. That being said, I wouldn't buy any on day one. See how they pan out. You might be surprised, or Steam Box may be out by then.

I was just trying to pull together a few fellow gamers to show MS that we don't want the xb1 in its current state. YES We could just sit back and get ps4s and pcs but I equally want the xbox one to be good not just a bluray player that plays games only when i have net.
If the xb1 has these horrible features and flops then this could negatively affect the ps4 because this will cause a gap in the market, since MS is the only traditional console competitors aimed at the hardcore market then sony could and probably will get abit lax .
My hope is that this causes a vacuum and we will get a 4th competitor this gen
