I was looking into the lock boxes some one has 2 keycards and one has 3 keycards. How do you have more then one at a time?

You can't in the xbox beta sadly. just test your luck on the 1 keycode lock boxes.

From the character screen press RB 2 times until you get to the screen where you break down weapons for resources. Once you choose the gun you want to modify, just choose to upgrade instead of break down.

Just as a side note, you can add weapon attachment slots without unequipping the weapon first, so if you don't have any slots to put attachments in on a weapon, you won't see any options when trying to modify it while it's equipped.
