Like everyone said it's only the BETA and things will most likely change in the final version. Look at how much the store and leveling changed in DUST from BETA to release.

Yeah it's still in beta. I've had several people tell me it released, but it's in open beta.

If someone had blur or an enemy gets close to you. Your more likely to kill yourself with the weapon than an enemy but it does seem its been overlooked abit.

I have the weapon in beta and in the end I refused to use it as I felt overpowered compared to a high end beta fully automatic AR that does 300 damage

YES: That smg needs to be toned down alot, i was in mp matches and watching that msg take out players using fully modded blaster rifles.
