Stop violating my ear! Voice chat bugs and suggestions

I'm getting really sick and tired of people who come into the game with either a headset that is not properly plugged in or a broken headset where they keep flooding the voice chat with static noise.

First the bug. Some times these players are in my clan. But when I go into Social and go to clan it doesn't show any names. So that bug needs to be fixed.

Now the suggestion. Put a flashing icon next to players name in the social menu, specially in Area and Clan. Even if you can't fix the bug where the Clan list doesn't show names just put in the flashing icons. This would make it easier to tell who is flooding the voice chat with static by looking for a player who's icon is constantly lit up. That way you can go in and mute them.

Sometimes they leave their mic on while they cook.. A lot of times I hear what I assume is them chopping up something on a cutting board, then they throw it into a blender.. Sometimes I wonder if it was food they are throwing into the blender or their mic..

Platform wide problem I know ps3 has it too - Arkfalls are the worst - and co-op. I left a co-op for that reason.

My complaint is, if im in a group or clan chat, why do i care what the people in area chat are saying and why should i be forced to listen to them when im in a different chat channel?

Another thing they really need to fix is that the voice chat keeps cutting out. One moment I'm chatting with my clanmates and the next complete silence. And it can last either a couple of minutes or at times up to an hour.

Common courtesy would also help. Last thing I need to hear about is someone on the rag, a guy talking about getting off or the neighbours sisters cousins boyfriends dog humping the cat.

This is on group, area as well as clan channels. If you wanna talk about that stuff get the persons phone number and get unlimited long distance.

Yeah it really should be easier to figure out who is talking. In fact, I was playing and a guy was having a phone conversation with his girlfriend talking about the freaky things she liked to do. I couldn't figure out who was talking and asked him to turn off his mic and he let loose with an earful, then went back to the phone and told him about some !@*&!* who was telling him to turn off his mic. I'd be so proud to be his girlfriend.

And people say this isn't a role playing game. That's so in keeping with fighting hellbugs. Envision smelters for crying babies.

The one thing that seems to not happen much in the game is actual characters dropping the F-bomb, but lately in some things I've noticed it happening more.

I really hate it when people have the Kinect mic on and you hear everything that's going on. Like I really wanna hear the details of your love life. And they seem to have the chat channels set to mute so when people tell them to turn the kinect mic off they don't hear it. Wouldn't be surprised if they do it on purpose to annoy people.

They should really have the games default set to Kinect Mic Off.
