A notice to Defiance Clans

The clan system in Defiance is currently not functioning properly. No features or clan boost are currently working.

I've already talked to several members from some of the larger clans as well and this seems to be an across the board issue. Though I can't speak for every clan out there.

If you are in the Browncoats, you haven't been kicked or removed from the clan so don't worry. I don't know when this will be fixed either and Trion hasn't commented on it, but it has been reported to the bugs section.

it is really starting to get to me that these crazy bugs are getting worse and worse with each patch........i still cant gain exp for certain lauchers and i cant get trion to comment about it either...the sad thing is i love this freaking game but i am getting more and more POd with this stupid bugs

Tell me about it. Their "mums the word" policy drives me up a wall. But I suspect that they don't really have anything to tell us because they don't plan on doing anything about it.

I really hope this isn't the case for our clan and the many others. We've done evrything we can contacting Trion and their support team, but only time will tell.

Any time you enter/leave a pvp, co-op, instance or use go to friend it glitches and show you out of clan. Easy fix is to log out then sign back in, or sometimes using go to friend can fix. Also make sure NOT to buy any clan boosts while game is showing you out of clan, it will charge you and it will not give the clan boosts.

Abyss Walkers have the same issue. We just have yet to complain because the clan system is virtually pointless at this point in time. Not only that, but I am sure they are aware of the issue and it is just sitting back seat to the medley of other issues.

I understand where you're coming from on this and that's usually a good work around. But this is on a whole other level. The entire clan function is virtually gone. No chat system, no clan clist, no boost. This isn't like anything that's happened before, it's a completely new issue that's happening to several major clans.

Like I said we have experienced this often. We figured it was just a regular annoyance and learned to disregard it.

My clan <Real D M H> has not had any problems with this.

Well, tonight a co-op gave me a plain 10,000 XP bonus, so maybe the clan extra wasn't working or co-op maps don't include the bonuses.

However, I usually see 10,700 at arkfalls, indicating that the 7% is being added.

If it's broke, it JUST broke. For me, anyway...

This is just a question but what does not working mean? I am in a clan and I know it is broken but...
Example: A friend purchases a clan boost and it shows up for some people but not others.
1) If it does not show the clan boost for you then that mean you are not receiving it?
2) Or even if it does show up it is still broken and you do not receive the clan boost?
