Beta key - Preorder problems...

Alright so I pre-ordered Defiance through Steam. I got the CD key and Pre-order key applied to Trion account. Problem is it won't let me participate in this weekends beta. Say I'm not entitled to play Defiance. So did I miss like a dead line or do I have an issue with my keys or somthing?

any tips or help would be very much appreciated.

TO further this, what happens is you get a key or a redeeming confirmation, however not the email itself, which is the last bit.
Until then you will continue to get that message.
