2 skeptical prejudgments about the DLC. Listen up Devs!

Now, I don't know what the result or outcome will be, but I want the devs to know that I do NOT want these 2 things to happen.

-Charge Blades - I like the idea but I don't like the idea in terms of PvP. PvP is the only reason I play this game and I don't want a cloaked charge blade with shadow strike in the back, or blur charge blade going *shwa shwa shwa* what I want is moderate damage on the blade, doing probably x2 melee damage or something, at least 3 knife hits to kill.

-Dueling - I love dueling, don't get me wrong but I hope to death they don't introduce a borderlands style duel. There's nothing I hate more than 20 feet to kill each other once... Dueling should be on small maps or whatever map you feel like in honesty. Waterfront and small maps like observatory would be nice. Since I didn't hear them talking about any new maps for dueling I assume it will be a fail. Let us choose what maps, score limit, etc. And be able to stake items and scrip on the outcome of the game too, PLEASE. I like to be competitive with prizes, you know.

I like chargeblades, definitely don't want them to be OP in PvP. I'm already borderline quitting the game because of infectors and shotguns with cloak. I don't need another OP setup coming into PvP. Already half the weapons on PvP are obsolete and not used.
If the chargeblade is a 1 or 2 hit kill i'm quitting. I already know what that means for blur/cloakers.

The Devs most certainly should NOT hamper any content because of this tiny PVP. The game is PVE based with a token PVP tossed in for fun. Move along to a PVP based game and leave Defiance to the people that play the entire game not one small portion of it. Thank you.

I do not like cloak shotgunners in pvp too, but i still play the both sides of the game (pve/pvp)
So i really dont think charge blades + blur will be that much op.

Suck it up buttercup, im going to be the guy that does it. I love the idea of the knives. in COD I always love catching the camper/sniper/n00b off guard with a quick teabag and stab to the back.

Melee weapons and cloak have pretty much ruined every single MMO to date; there's no reason to think Defiance will be any different. Devs always overtune them so that they wtfbbqpwn ranged.

For dueling, I agree that there shouldn't be a limited area but at least a timed event. Also, a dueling arena would be interesting but I believe that is what the battleground arena-thingie will be.
