This may sound silly but I would like to go to defiance itself. Make that a home base and we can store items in a bank etc. Open up the world more and give us water vehicles etc that would be cool too.

I have a feeling that we will be visiting Yosemite Valley in a future DLC.

Willing to bet that dark area in San Fran will be opened up, that's Fort Defiance and a few people have glitched their way in there, even has an extraction point set up in it already, I guess.

I was curious about that area thanks for clearing that up. I still want Bikes in the game though as they are in the TV series episode 1 so it's daft not to include them in future DLC.

I doubt it. The whole area was wiped out, nothing is there. People have said it may be a testing area for devs etc, but may also become a PvP area.

I like the bank idea. I got a ton of mods that I don't want to get rid of but I hate scrolling through. I also don't think it's fair that a scope or butt stick takes up the same inventory space as a rocket launcher! I mean if we're going to copy Borderlands...

So they SAY... but as far as the general story goes, pretty much everything was wiped out... until it was re-discovered. Perhaps underground, there's still something to it. Only a kilometer away, can still see remnants of standing old buildings and stuff. Depending on how they do it, could make sense part of Fort Defiance was still there.

Not really, the terra-spire was pretty much where Fort Defiance was and would have decimated everything that was there. The Fort was an abandoned monument with some debris as walls, there were no underground parts or anything else. If there is an extraction point there they it most likely is used for something or it was something but was taken out.

I'm not too sure what purpose that area will serve. However, I've glitched into that location; mainly out of impulsive exploration and well.. one thing led to another. If the way that area is laid out is how it will be I don't see how it would work out being a 'town' so to speak, but it does have an extraction point - hence why some are aware of the name being Fort Defiance.

Due to there being an extraction point there, that is one reason why I'm doubtful it would be dedicated to PvP. Although, now that I'm thinking about it.. that would a nice touch to the general atmosphere of the San Francisco area. But then again, it's a relatively small area so there wouldn't be much to it. Unless of course the underground bunker theory is a possibility - wishful thinker, what can I say?

All that being said, from what I can recall of the general layout of that area. I would say there's potential for a underground bunker type part to it which would play into the theory of how Nolan & Co survived essentially nuking the area.

Fingers crossed that a larger portion of the world is opened up, eh?
