    And you guys missing the most important point!
    If you have BMG and heal around you, does not matter how much (even 10 hp is enough)
    you ALWAYS got 5 keycodes. Tested and confirmed by me.
    You can slack all arkfall and heal around you and you can get the same reward as the others.
    And good stuff here is, BMG uses infinite energy, just need reload time to time.
    Time is the only resource which you can not afford to waste!

    I´m very much against an arkfall reward system that favors the top damage scores.

    1. It would push everyone towards a full blown overcharge/dps setup using wolfhounds and groundpounders in the pre-rounds and saws, heavy assault carbines and perhaps a few others in the boss fights. This imo goes against the spirit of the game. People should be able to play the builds they like and not get punished for it.
    2. It would stop people from reviving eachother. God forbid we'd miss out on a few thousand damage points and end up out of the favored top 5 or w/e for being nice and a good sport.
    3. It would favor those who already have the best gear pretty much without exception. Discouraging to the new and casual players as they would be sure to get crap loot.
    4. Shada Mori made a good point as well. Most people play games for their enjoyment and to relax/unwind a little. Favoring those who get top scores would turn it into a competitive, and for many frustrating, chore.

    I'm not saying the current reward system is great, but basing rewards on total damage done would not benefit the gameplay or the community as a whole.

    I've seen more posts about getting more keys and better rewards for ending up lower on the list which I agree shouldn't be the case either. It should just be the same all over the board.

    In all fairness I don't really see another reward system that would beat the current one (if the rewards would be the same all over the board).
    They would be just as 'unfair', discouraging to more players rather than less or simply impossible to implement.

    I agree with rReves. While I often get number one, I don't want to be restricted to using a specific power build for the rest of my Defiance life, just to compete to get rewards. Currently, I am running a decoy build that is quite useful at Arkfalls, as it rounds up Hellbug Warriors and such so the explosive guys can more easily take them out.

    I would rather not be forced to use Overcharge every time, or not be able to heal if I feel like it.

    There would be more credence to your complaints if you had compiled more than a sample of 20.

    Your experiment is utterly flawed. It doesn't matter your RANK on arkfalls. It's based on your score, just like everything else. Just get 1M+ and you'll be straight.
