Are you trying to be funny? For starters, it's ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES. Secondly, no we do not get new DLC every week, not even remotely. It's every 2 weeks for very minor episodic content, if that and they've even admitted themselves that they don't consider the episodic content as real content.

People are "crying" for DLC because this game is extremely shallow. More and more people are beginning to hit the brick wall which turns this game into a constant grind and Trion needs to pull their thumbs from their rear ends and get things in gear.

Don't get me wrong, it's fun. But the content is low for an mmo and it's not at all sustainable, if they don't start working on an end game and open ended content that isn't a tedious repetitive grind soon they're going to lose even more players.

And before anyone says it, the pvp in this game is not even remotely end game. There is nothing competitive about it.

Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

LOL what a ****. they did say that after their large patch we would see the content by the months end. still no content. The content we do get on a weekly basis is slim to none, keeps me busy for about 15 minutes....

Guys, you just got a new PVP map, and they made some big fixes.... I know it's not a whole bunch, but judging from what I have seen I think you all have very high expectations for what the DLC is gonna bring, and with high expectations comes high risk of dissappointment.

When they say they will have 5 DLCs I would expect 1 every 2 months. So as long as they get one out before the end June I'd say they were on track.

Mind you, I only have 60 of the 104 pursuits done, but maybe I don't play as much as you guys do.

No, we did not get a new pvp map. We got an old map that was broken during the testing period, removed, then put in at launch, broke again for weeks on end and removed again, then put in again, broke again, removed and the finally put back in again.

Guys and girls we do get new stuff everyday we log on. Everyday when I turn on the game to play I notice something new. Its a new bug, and new glitch for noobs to use, a new cheat, another new problem!!!!!!!!
I really think none of the problems are going to be addressed at this point. And when the "GOOD" new stuff comes, I truly believe it will bring a boatload of new problems as well.
Defiance has potential to be a great game, and yes at the start I whole heartedly defended it because I thought it would bring in a new erra of games for the new console. But as of yet I have seen a company that doesn't reply to issues on forums, they don't reply to things that people submit through the in game feature (Except for automated responses), and they haven't been able to fix many of the problems.
Honestly guys, tell me one person you know that submitted a ticket in game that actually got a response from an actual living person??? And a response that helped you? I think none of you. Its always a generated response and its always the same for every question and problem.
Like I said, I love the game and it has potential. But I don't think trion has the means or knowledge to pull this off. Too much time has passed and there are some exploits that haven't even been looked at yet.

Finding 3 data recorders in under 5 minutes, for all intensive purposes is not even close to anything like new DLC.

As Arsenic stated, the PvP map is not new. Also, if they hadn't mentioned DLC in the last Across the Badlands I would not have mentioned it either, however, if memory serves they said it would be about a week after client update 1.020...

They had mentioned in the past that the DLC would be out by the end of the month but then pushed back the client update so I assume that also pushed back the DLC.

I am not trying to attack Trion or even complain. If they need more time then they need more time but they should keep the community up to speed on what's going on. If the recent Community Blog are an indication of how well we are informed, then the DLC will be out for 2 days before they tell us the release date.

What part of "Trion doesn't respond to demands for information" can't some of you understand?

Might also want to look up the popular definition of "insanity" as well. Something about doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Or are you planning for a career in politics? If so, carry on, you're doing a fine job.
