first generation xbox 360

i have one of the first generation xbox's and i am constantly running into freezing problems; everyone i talk to says they have the slim. is there anyone else out there running first generation xbox 360 with no problems?

I have a first gen 360 and have experienced 3 freezes so far on the beta; all of them have occured during the final stages of a large arkfall event.

I have had three freezes myself, but unlike Hiero, mine are not consistent. The closest to consistent they are is that two of them happened while I was in or exiting a roller.

From what I understand most of the freezing issues are happening on the older 'boxes. I however ran into several back to back freezes on my slim earlier today after 5 hours of straight gameplay. Might just be an overheatin issue.

ive had them afew time myself always at the end of an arkfall, also i never had them before yesterdays update, so as far as i know the update fixed sum problems and created this freezing one

i have a slim and i get freez's but if you wait it out i left mine for 5 mins and it came back to life in the game!

I've had two freezes so far too, only during two huge group arkfalls.

Also running a Halo 4 360 Slim.

I have a first gen Xbox as well, and have experienced around 4-5 freezes, all during larger arkfall events.

The current beta build may cause issues on first gen Xbox's in regards to crashing. It should not harm your system. The final build of the system should and will run better on your system.
