Adding PSN's during a trade is like a handshake. Just delete when your done. It is more a trust thing. Not saying you are, but when people do scamming it is easier to blacklist them with their PSN ID. Also the more common scammers don't give out PSN for that reason. So all of us that do good business pass out our PSN without care because there will be no repercussions. Most time I delete people when done trading anyway, unless they are super cool or they do lots of good business and it just easier to keep them on instead of constantly adding/deleting.

On a side note, I am noticing there are many players from NC in the forums.
I am 45min-hour West of Raleigh here, or otherwise 4hr away up in Boone.

I understand but the reason I do this is people tend to counter offer giving a list of all their oranges and telling me to pick; if the bid is to high they require something else to be added to complete trade or lower their own risk. I'd rather have firm offers then loose anti-bids and this is why I'd rather them not add me on psn just to bid on weapons.

I've done business with people who gave me their PSNs and with people who just group invited and jumped to me to trade invite only. I've had good luck with both on this game. I can see why it may be shady if someone doesn't want to give out their PSN, but the worse scam I've heard about in defiance was the guy who "held" his buddy's oranges so the buddy could switch characters, then disappeared before his buddy got back. They were PSN friends and in the same clan (up until the point the thief kicked the other guy out of the clan after stealing his stuff).

Yeah I saw that same thread - awful - I noticed the thief hasn't shown his face on here since he got called out by his "buddy".

I have a sneaking suspicion he traded those weapons just the same.

There are alot of scammers in defiance as all mmos. I don't mind the adds to be friends but i hardly trust anyone. as for my shop experience; I got harassed daily every time i logged onto psn for my frc saw that I had for sale by the same guy. If I didn't reply I'd get a new message every 10-15mins. The trade was like this: "pick 5 of these weapons and I will then remove 3 that i don't want you to have for the saw" like >< im not offering for ur **** you're offering for mine.

P.S. My PSN is actually on my signature. so shady isn't the issue xP loll.
