I was playing the angel island coop mission, and psycho pete says 'I don't come into your home and kill your friends and family' and he has a very good point. he didn't, yet we have to go and kill hundreds of his friends, and then kill his mother. wtf?

when we're running around the docks, killing all the raiders in sight, does anyone consider that they may have a family, and they're just a work, docking the boats and whatknot, then BOOM! dead.

has anyone else questioned the morals of this game?

I have. THe answer is that murderin rapin Raiders should die. Good honest folk should kill them with their guaranteed high capacity magazines. Harmony is re-established. Last time I checked the worst thing I have done as an Ark hunter is letting Nolan live. Seriously. Worst. Thing. Ever. However I do not violate, murder, nor effing eat people. My karma is much less heavy than a Raiders.

Yes, defend the poor pyschopathic warlord. Cause he's not doing anything evil, at least not at the moment. One must wait until AFTER the heavily armed psychopathic militaristic drug addled lunatics, with a history of unforgivable violence, masacre a couple farms, before attacking.

Of course it is quite possible that Von Bach sold us, as The Ark Hunter (silent, deadly, poorly paid, what a combo) on his plan to save the world and we really are along out of pure intent, either having failed to notice or overtly ignoring our employer's egocentrism in favor of the overall good we hope to do for the world in general.

Maybe so. Or maybe, like me, you are along because he's such an arrogant, egocentric a-hole! I actually think Von Bach is one of the best characters in the game, and want to see much more of him. I like to think Von Bach promised a big pay-off when we finally complete his job and that many of the side-quests are there for the same reason 'in-game' as they are for us - side jobs the Ark Hunter picks up to pay the rent while he waits for Von Bach to figure out where we need to go next.

Almost certainly, we got EGO instead of a more traditional down-payment. (I can't imagine that coming cheap, even with all her downsides!)
