still taking 11 seconds for me, same as always. I just use a secondary that has a fast reload speed. Empty primary, swap weapons, empty mag, reload, empty mag, swap back to fully-reloaded primary.

Mathematically speaking, no matter the gun, it should take 11 to 12 seconds to fully reload. If a gun has 12 ammo, it gets 1.08 ammo per second. If a gun has 85 ammo, it gets 7.65 ammo per second. Regardless, both need to take 11 to 12 seconds to fully reload. If it's taking longer than that, it's messed up.
Perk is # 4 out of the 7 perk slots I have, in 5 loadouts, and it's been working fine until several days ago.

That's over a month of working fine and then it stopped reloading consistently.

I don't, as a rule, swap to a weapon and hold down the trigger until empty. And as has been pointed out, it'll fail to reload a weapon that is 'holstered' for minutes at a time.

The reload seems to load a smaller number of bullets each time until I'm pulling out a nearly empty weapon, and 2 to 5 rounds during an A-fall doesn't cut it if I have to stop and reload while expecting to be able to shoot back.

It's been suggested to reload before swapping.
If the reload animation doesn't complete before the swap, the reload doesn't happen.
Same with equipping ammo at a cache.
If I don't hold the button through the whole 'loading ammo from cache' animation, I don't get the ammo.

If I've got time to wait for the reload animation, why am I swapping weapons, unless I specifically wanted another weapon? And in that case, I'm rarely putting away an empty weapon anyway, so I wouldn't expect to get an empty weapon back.
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.

I have the SAW and autoload shotgun equipped because those are the ones I need for what I do.
Equipping a 15 shot sniper and a pistol because they have smaller mags and load faster is pointless for what I hunt, and how I play.

And it still begs the question of 'It USED to work, until you fixed something ELSE, and now THIS doesn't work anymore".

Okay, so it's not the perk placement. And you shouldn't have to hit the reload button. I never do, whether I completely unload a gun or partially do it. Definitely time it. Just go somewhere, shoot, switch, and see. If it's possible, record it and report a ticket so they can look into it.

And I didn't have the 'Reload several times' animation bug, but many people did.

I now have this one, instead.

    See?
The forums work as a place to share info and gain knowledge regarding what's happening to people other than ourselves.

I'm not saying you aren't having the issue, but I can't see how the shotgun going at sustained fire was long enough to ever reload your SAW. I've tried it with various weapons while messing with my prepared class and if a weapon emptied too quickly the weapon on my back that was "reloading" will only have as many rounds as 9% per sec (or whatever it is) would have gave me. Multiple times I would eventually be forced to reload one because I would be emptying mags too quickly so neither weapon would ever be fully reloaded after the swap.

I mentioned in a previous post that I don't draw a weapon and hold down the trigger, even at A-falls hunting monarchs (my prefered career path) or the boss.
I try to make shots count, aim, fire.
And I'm not aiming/firing with an empty weapon, or a weapon I'm reloading.

It takes time to get into position, line up shot with area I'm wanting to shoot, move crosshairs because target has moved, decide to shoot....

All of that time is given to the preparedness perk, which is not using the time the way it used to.

This is a 'it's doing things differently' bug. I understand that a SAW mag is big.
The bigger shotgun mag used to have time to load it.
But the big SAW mag used to load the shotgun mag.
    SAW mags = still big.
    Shotgun mags =/= still big.
Shotgun mags should load in less time.

Shotgun mags not completely loading to start with, which gives less time to load the SAW.

Mags ALSO not completely reloading even while not firing other weapon. Not firing other weapon gives reloading mag MORE time.

Please excuse any language or capitalization that may appear rude. Rudeness is not my intent, and I can tell you're an intelligent forum user, else you wouldn't have framed a reasonable dialogue.
