I have no social media accounts either and even I know the capabilities. But I agree. Although...if someone is posting here in the forums they should see at the top of the forums.

Agreed completely. Why should I need to go to Twitter or FB or BFE or the forums... wait, I already said BFE... disregard....
In-game, pop-up on-screen message (since God knows we apparently can't get a chat system that works for shtako) saying, "Downtime in 15 minutes" with a 5 minute reminder... is this a foreign concept? Where have I seen this before...? Oh yes, now I remember.

And in case you didn't notice Joe. Creating well though out post or giving constructive criticism on these forums is usually met by droves of ******s. How many of them can even function enough to use a keyboard is still beyond me.

I can't complain about Trion being inconsistent?

I have seen the threads myself with people complaining about the lack of communication inside the game.

The "night shift" that takes care of the daily restart is a great example of one team doing things the right way, while the other "day shift" does not. I'm not asking for anything overly complex, just be consistent. Why are you defending an obvious problem?

Yes you can complain on the forums. About anything you want. But I can also try making the point that I feel you are inconsistent for coming here to complain only. The update time was posted yesterday. If you can come here to complain about lack of info and miss the info you are complaining about it makes you a hypocrite.

Heck, my problem is I have seen it in THIS game! 30 minute reminder every night at 1:30AM that at 2AM the servers are coming down for a "quick" restart. Then at 15 minutes, and 10 and 5...It's Trion being lazy...I know most companies would not do this on purpose, I am just suggesting that they get the entire staff on the same page!

odd actually when i first saw the post in the server status it said posted "Today at 8:23am" the time has now been adjusted to "Today at 1:23am" i know this for a fact that they only gave us roughly 40min notice on forums as i was on all night and during the time they supposedly posted it.

They did however post that the eu servers would be getting the fix however they only gave NA servers 40min notice and no in game notice really bad way to run a business imo

That time difference you noticed MIGHT be due to you not having signed into the forums when you read it the first time? If you aren't signed in the forums don't know your time zone. Once you sign in, the date/time is updated based on what you have asked for in your settings.

I see things in Pacific time if I'm not signed in and in CET when I am signed in.

No they might have messed something else up with this hotfix. It would not surprise me.

I don't usually come here to read unless I'm either booted from the game and have a few minutes, or sitting someplace safe doing inventory reduction/salvage.

The other times are when I run into something weird in game and post while staring at it, or have a question about what I'm doing and look for an answer.

I'm of the opinion that all other info will be splashed on the 'Server coming down in 15' wall, unless it's an issue, and in that case, issues happen when they happen, with little/no notice.
