Trouble with Nim Shondu? I may be able to help!

This boss fight got me a few times before i figured out what to do....... This is an mmo people. Boss fights will have certain ways to beat them and thats about it. Once you beat him the satisfaction you have will be worth it i guarantee it.

    1. First thing to do is equip all those lovely perks with health regens and shield regens and Less damage perks.

    2. BE PATIENT!

    3. Learn his attack sequences and figure out his periods of weakness and then learn to exploit them.

    4. Quick evade is your friend. So are the pillars that pop up that you can hide behind.

    5. Submachine guns/ saws are what i used for the first few parts and grenades and rockets for the last couple parts of the fight.

Sincerely hope this helps some of you. Have a wonderful Day.

    2 words.

    shotgun totheface

a lot of people have issues with his speed. with a shotgun, accuracy is less important, and will stop him in his tracks. Nim, to me, seems like a PvP player. use similar tactics
Your Challenger won't drive? You're probably in the passenger seat.
Can't sell/delete an item? Check all of your loadouts, it's likely still equipped.
Auction house? Why? It'll just render bits purchased lock boxes pointless, and weapons are mostly equal anyway.
Gear/enemy progression? No thanks, it'll only render 90% of the content trivial when you reach the highest zone.

I found that using cloak along with an AR and an Infector worked really well, and the infector grenade.

Basically just us the infector in the first round, along with grenade whenever cd is up. Dodge his blue charge attack (really easy to dodge) and his fireballs.

Phase 2 was the most difficult for me, but basically when he's on the ground with his clones, spam your infector (I used the canker) and grenade and dodge his fireballs. Cloak when shields are down and health is low. When he splits the clones up top, swap to AR and kill as many as you can. I found killing half (just start in the middle and kill in a semi-circle) will be enough to survive the remaining. Rinse and repeat (still a difficult phase though).

Phase 3 was super easy. Just infector him, and take cover from his spinning fireballs. When he does the attack where he does the shockwave, jump right as he hits the ground and you won't get hit. Otherwise, just stay clear of the pillars that come up and go boom.

A good BMG makes the over long and drawn out cut sceney, really pointlessly long fight a breeze. Add blurr and its over. Not soon enough thou....

I used blur with a cluster shot.

With the increased movement, evading his attacks are easy. And using the cluster shot, accuracy is something you do not need to worry about.

Yes, it took a little bit, but I was able to clear it on the first attempt...at ego < 1000...and without needing the forums to give me clues.

Actually I beat Nim using the secret and coveted strategy of SHOOTING HIM UNTIL HE DIES. I know a strategy so unorthodox might not seem like it'd be effective against such a difficult foe as Nim but, when you pair the aforementioned strategy with the seldom used strategy of DON'T SUCK AT VIDEO GAMES then the mysteries of the universe will unlock before you.

Just beat him last night, its all about learning his attacks really I think, and having the right perks like regen perks n such. He can be tricky at times but once you figure all his movements its pretty easy.

A VBI SMG with Siphon did it for me last night. Grenades were handy though. My second and third phase final blows were grenade blasts.

I finally just broke down and used a BMG. Took two years to kill him, but I was never in danger of death either.
