Signs your Xbox is going to freeze...

You lose sound in the middle of a match of PvP... In my case both times it's been freight yard. I have a newer Xbox slim w/ a cooling fan attached on the side. I don't care wether or not its the Xbox or defiance.... Swing how that's a popular topic right now but just an FYI.

We all die a little sometimes, it’s alright
Did you come to say your goodbyes to this life?
We all hurt a little sometimes, we’re alright
So mothers hold your children don’t you ever let em go
There is weakness in your grip and they are holding all our hopes

Really lagging sound might be a sign you're about to get lag-kicked, sure. Or worse, a solid lock up. This happens when the Xbox 360 uses more memory than it actually has. Happens to me on Skyrim a lot with my 'super character'.

Yeah, once in a while the entire system freezes. On a JTAG or RGH Xbox 360 system, you can set an option so a hard crash won't freeze the entire system, it instead boots you back to the dashboard with a "fatal crash averted" message. But Microsoft lets it just hard crash. It isn't over heating, it is running out of memory. Kinda a fault of Defiance, kinda a fault of Xbox designers for allowing it to happen.

Even when all the kids are out of school and playing, this still only happens to me once a week or so.

First rule of jtagged xboxes, you DON'T TALK ABOUT JTAGged xboxes. Against the TOS chummer.

Mine freezes mostly when I go into the menu to remap the controls and drive to the next Ark. Get loud vehicle noise and then it freezes.

I want to say its because the 360 is having troubles keeping up with everything. With it happening in PvP and also major arkfall's its something in the 1.20 patch that is causing it. Probably what the above poster said about using more memory then the system has. Another reason why people who have stayed on for a long time rather afk or playing get booted more and system restart tends to clear it up for a while.
