Boosts gone - Again - getting ripped off by Trion

Got on the game this morning and boosts I've purchased, as well as clan boosts are gone again. Trion is ripping us off yet again - they won't refund any of what we've lost that we paid for!!! Are they pulling a grab what they can before they close the doors??? I submitted a support ticket, but no response - don't really think they even look at them. Pretty crappy way to deal with people who paid for their game and stuck with it through all the bugs and crashes.

It happened to me and they immediately restored the boosts I'd purchased for myself and for my clan, as well as those that others had and they even extended the time on them. I also submitted a support ticket and it was taken care of right away. Try logging off and on again or completely backing out of the game and coming back in.

also it is there policy not to refund if the servers goes down , like the last update . funny how they can do it do customers , you think after the less then below par launch the game had they would be trying to keep gamers , but nope

About as crooked as it gets in the gaming world - maybe a lawyer would get their attention? But then I'm sure they figure that the kids that play wouldn't go that far, and they probably figure that adults who play and get tired of the scam would just take their gaming elsewhere. Too bad - cuz the game showed so much potential.

I'm not sure if it happened to me. I bought all the personal boosts a week or two ago, and they were gone after 24 hours. I expected longer for the price, and to be honest, I don't know what 24:00:00:00 even means. I thought maybe it was days:hours:minutes:seconds., but my boosts definitely didn't last for multiple days.

    We'll just leave this here.

I'm going to repeat this and say I submitted a support ticket and it was immediately taken care of with time added to the boosts. I did have to quit the game and come back in again to have it show up but they did take care of it. Sorry if this hasn't worked for you but I don't tend to think I'm special and they just like me better. I know that isn't the case.

That isn't a refund by the way and you'd have to live in a vacuum to not understand that's the problem with downloadable content everywhere. No company will offer refunds for such content so why would anyone be asking for a refund? And downloaded content is always "buyer beware". You agree to terms before you buy so it's likely that you would have no legal case for anything here.

This is actually one of the things I hate about everything going to all digital downloads as well as the idea of licensing content. But again, you should be asking them to restore the boosts and to extend them for those who have not done so.

This appears to be a miscommunication issue.

Boosts are real time, so when you purchase a boost for 1 Day you get them for 24 hours from the time of purchase, which mean you bought them at 7am EDT Monday then the boost is out on 7am Tuesday. It is not 24 hours of game play time.

I believe there in lies the confusion, but the system has been that way since launch.

Boosts last 24 hours. If you buy multiples of the same boost, then you will see 1 day, just under 24 hours, minutes, seconds, and so on, something like this: 1d 23:59:48:01 counting down.
