    Repairing the broken relationship.

    Communication is the key. We as a community of gamers on three different platforms...... get 1 or 2 posts by community "managers" when they feel the need to comment on us complaining. Some of the Community Managers act sympathetic and understanding. Some act downright cruel with their twisted barby snarky sentiments. We just want someone to explain why the game is in the state its in.....


    Rumor has it that your staff was reduced..... IF this is true how badly was it reduced and what effect will this have on the future of a game i pledged more or less a hundred dollars for..... the standard edition plus the season pass dlc right off the bat based on the reputation that another mmo gave me with this company. "Rift" Who has a great community for the most part and is pretty transparent in their dealings with the community.

    While i enjoy the across the badlands episodes. I see that in an interview you did it states that they take over 100+man hours a week to do these segments.... How about instead we post some pics on the internet and have weekly discussions on the forums with the community and the community managers...... i think that would save money and time in the long run and start rebuilding the rapport that has so significantly been reduced since launch due to lack of communication.

    Someone correct me if im wrong but the community just wants answers. The longer you wait to give them to us the less likely you will be able to fix this broken relationship.

    On another note. Thank You for trying something so new and daring that it couldnt help but have glaring pitfalls and dangers for you to wade through. To even think of doing something this massive is a glaring tribute to your time and efforts thus far. Please dont ruin the effort of making the tv show and the game happen only to end up just having a tv series with a lackluster game tied to it. The tv show is wildly popular and the game was at first as well. But major concerns still abound. But again Thank You for attempting it. Please dont give up. Because the silence makes it seem like you either don't care or have given up. Please for the love of this project and your community..... Become just a tad more transparent. The milky opaqueness is beginning to dishearten me.

    I seriously doubt Trion is ever going to say anything regarding the layoffs. It seems like something that for legal reasons they're not going to discuss ever.

    Well if that is the case then i understand. I'm merely asking for a bit more transparency is all. I don't think that its to much to ask. But if it is then i can only shudder to think why that would be so.

    Thanks so much. I'm doing my part as best i can to get this community to stick together. We really need to imo. Otherwise its all for naught.

    Appreciate your feedback across the board. I can speak to a few of these items and hopefully this will give you an idea of what is to come and what we are doing.

    1.) Trion Worlds did have layoffs. Defiance is still very much being supported and we are working on new content as we speak.

    2.) Across the Badlands production has been cut down to allow us more time to focus on getting feedback from the community, taking part in external community interviews, allow us to gather and prep for the new content and continue to work with the development team to resolve outstanding issues. We will continue to jump in a chat with the community and look forward to feedback around coming content. The best place to discuss content is within the patch threads I start that outline the incoming fixes. Our Developers are also in the forums within specific sections such as PvP to discuss and gather feedback from the community.

    3.) We can only give you answer we have. We are working to get answers on remaining items and will continue to update the community on DLC, patches and other items as soon as we have the info.

    This is the Defiance forum and as such it should be the place where a statement can be posted to the forum members who actually care and are interested in the game.
    Yes you will get the whingers and trolls who will twist everything and pull each syllable apart but the fans do need to be treated with some respect.
    Just a locked thread with a statement of the facts would do regarding the bugs and a side note of any further dlc release etc.
