I'll admit that once I realized I was being killed a majority of the time by Infectors and the Vot Fragger, I sought them out to see what the deal was.

The Immunizer is definitely on the cusp of being game breaking. Since equipping it, my kill count has more than doubled. With a specific perk build and mod synergies, it becomes an absolute beast. It's effective at the same range most sniper rifles are effective without the need for precision. I understand it's role as an Anti-Sniper weapon, but its just as effective at SMG and AR range as well, again without the need for as precise aim as other weapons.

I'd have to run tests and crunch the numbers to see what could be down as a counter strategy to the Immunizer. I'm pretty sure there is an ideal counter-strategy that most people, including myself, are missing.

As for the Vot Fragger, any High-Damage Shotgun can do what it does. The Vot Fragger just has more room for error because it fires two shots at once.

they nerfed the heavy scattergun damage, now its not as god as the scattergun since all the stats are the same except the heavy has terrible accuracy

people with grind fraggers point at immunizers and vise versa....leave it all alone... this is not a bare bones shooter... its a mmo shooter. they nerfed rockets bmgs infecters than shotguns... it will just be something else always... if i were them i would stop listening to the pvp crying...nerfing weapons wont make you any better and this is not gears or my lil pony... this is our beloved DEFIANCE.... adapt...die...whatever just lay off the game and play it....learn

1 not need to aim
2 Range 50 +
3 full automatic
4 spawn bugs
5 auto target aim
6 block vision
7 etc., etc.

CLOAK
1. you become invisible (literally) want to know whose idea it was to put it this way cloak

I cant believe what im reading here. people dont cry about weapons in this game no more. last time they nerfed weapons i could not play this game all day due to patch. if you cant handle loseing in a game dont play it go learn how to shot them come back and try later. i have been shot by these weapons and do not feel any gun in this game needs to be fixed. You just need to be fixed look up how to mod your gun and what perks go well with those guns or the way you play. Here's the thing with the bug guns. THEY TAKE TIME TO KILL. You're just pissed that folks are willing to let them selves die in a kamikaze run leaving you dead next to them.

Balance doesn't mean all the same. Balance allows for a trade off of power to to utility. Balance means certain guns perform better in certain circumstances. Balance does not mean one gun (that you prefer) beats them all.

Balance means that while you are killing me while you have 2 dozen needles stuck in you, you will end up dead in the end. Get bugged, flee and try a different tactic. Don't stick around for the swarm of bugs to finish you while you unload into the guy. It is a lose-lose situation and the bugger made peace with his death before firing off the first shot at you.
