I'm also getting the message that my console needs to be linked to my account again. However, it's still shown as linked on the Defiance game site. All my character details (name and EGO level) are still shown on the website as well.
Please tell me this can can be sorted?!?!?!? If not then I'm not starting from scratch again. Love the game but at the minute it sucks!

Try to synch your trophies with psn and restart game, and your character should be back again. This is a problem that has crept into game since last patch.
I am also experiencing this problem; every time I play! I just have to quit the game and restart but it's getting slightly annoying so hope it will be fixed soon?!
Iv got this problem aswell, Iv tried syncing trophy's,logging out and in and restarting, My character is still no where to be found, Hopefully he is still out there.....somewhere.
It's still out there. Try relogging. As annoying as it is, your char is actually not lost. I suspect that it's a problem with the servers accessing the char data, more than a problem relating the char data itself (if that makes any sense).
Cheers for that. I logged in and out three times and on the fourth he was back again. Relief!!!!!
