Correct me if I'm wrong, but 1.15 isn't "addition" it's "multiplier" bonus. So "the more the merrier" if you have 2.0 crit before you are going to have 2.3 crit after .. BUT if you had only 1.1 before you are going to have only ~ 1.25 after . Hence the answer - in case you have decent "crit" oriented version - 1.15 is way to go, as even 1 crit out of 5 gives you good overall damage bonus in PvE and PvP .. but if you have low crit - 7% of stable damage is much better idea.
For instance with SMGs I wouldn't even think about adding crit :P
I know people who are extremely good with heavy carbine .. but it doesn't work for me at all, so I stick to ranger auto sniper or courier as an addition to SMG or LMG ( unfortunately rifles are a bit underpowered now in both long and short distance .. and there are not many cases of medium distance fights)
I personally love my heavy, it has a built in 1.25 Mag bonus and with the 1.50 High Cap I put on it it gets 35 rounds per mag at 466 DMG. It's true I'd prefer not having to semi-auto it but the mag is seemingly endless and not much can stand up to a full one.
the Max XP Bonus was a 12% Crit Bonus to Out of Combat targets, which works for me as I use it as a Sniper Rifle anyway.
I think the base Crit Mult is only like 1.6. I have to doublecheck.
Hmm Power Bore or Ionic - so if my Crit Mult is 1.6 I'd only go to 1.84 which would likely round to 1.8. Lame. Power Bore it is. (Damage boost would put it at 498 each round).
