Cass Ducar: single most disagreeable mmo npc ever?

I play with the french voices and between the voices and the "translation" ,it's even worst...Always the same thing with voices and translations,Rockstar understand that for a long time...I just hope one day to be able to play Defiance with the originals voices and no wack translations...

i don't know man, you might be better off with the French version.

Couldn't disagree more. I freakin' love Cass. If Defiance was real life we would be besties. Her voice fits her personality perfectly.

Am I the only gamer old enough to remember NPCs with broken AI that gets themselves killed all the time making you fail quests or missions? Cass is nothing on the irritation meter.

im really beginning to think its the tonal quality of her voice that is really getting to me. perhaps, it might even be some digital manipulation in the soundbooth that's doing it.

either way, it really, really grates my nerves and i'm not typically someone to experience that with just a person's voice.

She, or EGO are no Navi or old school MMO escort NPCs.

In STALKER, Ver 1.1 the NPCs would walk around, step into the bonfires and fires in 55 gallon drums and incinerate.
If you left an encampment alone long enough, they'd all be in the burning drum when you got back.

i think her AI is fine, her character development as well.

im speaking about her actual voice (and sometimes script).

My toon doesn't mind Cass voice at all.. he's too busy visualising her swimming nekkid as he drills more holes in the boat for their next trip to the Island of Lost Soldiers...

I like the ones where she's drunk or high in some "Need Want". Prolly only wearing her jewelry lounging back on large floor pillows... being attended to. Wait ... nm ... that's a movie I have.

As a few said already, My male Irath toon has no problem with her voice. He's one of her regular stoppers, Ark huntering... crawling around in Varus's mines, and killing Hellbugs *rotates shoulder causing it to pop* Tends to make a body very tense. Only one I have a problem with, is Von Bauc as everyone says. he's an ***... or a piece of shtako... BUT he's my employer, and he finds me scrip... that I blow on Crater drinks and Cass ^_^
