True he spawned more 99ers during the fight. Which is why I fully expected the saw to be my weapon of choice. But I just couldn't do enough hipfire damage... I was in a tight spot with limited movement as well.

I wouldn't play chess against an opponent who invents a Rook or Bishop whenever he needed one, and I'm getting fed up with this.

OMG so An elite blacklung pops up in the road at an emergency when I'm driving. Blows up my car. I had a class for leveling... no special perks. Armed with courier and saw. No mods. I'm ego 3800. 500 rounds later out of the saw I had all but a shred of his health gone. I ran out of ammo?!?! Courier barely scratch him. I almost got him with the saw. But he never reloads never stops lobbing devastating grenades at you. Knocks you across the map if you try to use a ruined dbl barrel or shotty with no range. Shield comes back faster than my stock saw could reload. Can't switch classes cause I'm under constant lobber fire. What's the deal trion?? I haven't had to extract since I was ego 1000. I used to be able to do any emergency by myself. Now without the exact perk set-up and weapon load out I am screwed!!! After I extracted I went back with a grind fragger and nano fragger. Flash nadded him and use shock damage shotties to paralize him. I still would not have gotten him had someone else not come with and infector and help. I didn't want help. I wanted to kill that bastard. But the way things were going I don't think I would have. B.S...

P.S. Wasn't only a black lung. Two elite gold rushers and multiple other npc miners. But they weren't the problem.

Perhaps you should have killed the 99er Drones first...I can take out a blacklung with a 1.75 of a clip from my Tachmag Pulser

I take out Blacklungs with a BMG, just to get skill experience. They are one of the easiest bosses around. You don't even have to roll.

There seems to be times in the game when weapons loose their effectiveness. I use a saw/shotgun combo in minor ark falls and from time to time I have not been able to kill a blast pod at all. On the next one 2 to 3 blasts and its gone.

I still like how they nerfed the TACC Autos and the Auto Fragger to "bring them in line with the other combat shotguns". I was rarely ever killed by them in PvP when I was forcing myself through the pursuits.

I'd love to see the outrage on these forums if they ever brought the SAW "in line with the other LMGs".

if you put an entire clip from a saw into 90% of enemys they die..before clip empty id hope..practice shooting or..level your skill lol

There are several blacklungs that spawn that regen faster than you can reload, and they don't require drones.
Thats part of my point above, the game invents stuff.
I have no trouble with warriors and monarchs.
I dont want a monarch that looks like a warrior, and I dont want several spawned one after the other in a crowd of warriors.

That's not a challenge, it's a lazy/veiled cheat.

And completely out of line.
Why have a SAW at all if I have to use a whole mag on a common badguy.
And I'm already full lvl SAW.
I didn't get that with coupons.
