Okay so as you all may know, the creators of call of duty and the halo franchise have decided to team up (yeah who knew!) to make a, shared open world shooter(seems like an mmo to me), and I just wanted to know if beta and alpha sign ups were too late, now dont get me wrong, yes im on defiance forums but i like defiance and this was the game that paved way for destiny in a distant sense (they have been working on the game for over 6 years). I welcome feedback on if the beta/alpha signups were too late, thanks.

As far as I know, there is no open beta. Chances are they're already past that point, considering the game is supposed to launch latter this year.

Wow, I've never heard a bigger over simplification before. While we're at it, Defiance is a post-apocalyptic world with aliens and Star Wars is a bunch of battlemages in a sci-fi world.

Well im just asking because defiance hasnt held my interest, i have completed all the pursuits except social (too hard) and their is just not enough ßtuff to do i mean yes you can do arkfalls and pvp but thats pretty much it, i have played alot. But destiny with whole solar systems and whole planets that are all free roam with customizable armor and customizable vehicles it seems it would be very like my kind of game.

Yeah, same here. Multiple races and classes, a bunch of planets to explore, and an interesting shared-world aspect. The only thing I'm slightly worried about is the story. As cool as the universe they've constructed is, they haven't really told us if there is even going to be a single-player story. I'm hoping it will be something like TOR and have customized storylines for your race/class.

As far as I know its NOT going to be an MMO... more along the lines of Borderlands.

Not even sure how " Open World " it will be... although I'm hoping its gonna be awesome.
