    So, sieges.

They will supposedly launch today according to last Friday's live stream; so let's talk about them while we wait.

What are we going to be looking at here? I personally hope it's the Volge, but the possibility exists that it will be zombie hordes. I'll be disappointed if it's zombies though. We've had more than enough games include zombies in the past 10 years. Now, don't get me wrong, zombies are fun and all, but I'm starting to get sick of the whole zombie fetish the gaming industry seems to be on as of late. Zombies, zombies everywhere. Let's make zombie games, T.V. shows, apps, t-shirts, zombie ALL the things!

I'm also hoping to see some decent loot, perhaps even some kind of a boss during the siege's various phases/capture points. This is going to be in the open world akin to Shadow Wars, correct? Perhaps we'll get to enlist the use of the Cerberus as well? That would be great. Curious to see how a siege will play out.

Edit: "Le Sigh" (T_T) Zombies, the sieges are about zombies... Just... I... Ehhhhhhhhhhhhnnnngggghhhh. <- Sigh of disapproval.

My understanding is Volge comes with dlc this will be an introduction so probably zombies. Or you can call them raged out sick people if it makes you feel better.

I agree zombies are overused but as long as the explanation tie in is good enough ill overlook it.

Ps agree with loot too I'm level 2500 still haven't seen a legendary.

Mutants are pretty close to Zombies, also im sick of them too, and i work at GameStop so its non stop Walking Dead and Dead Island....but at the same time it brings money/people so i wouldn't be surprised if they jump on the zombie bandwagon

I'm guessing it will be the sick people. But I'd rather think of them as more like mutants, because I'm guessing they will use weapons and such.

    Yeah it's way too cliched.
I still think if they do something zombie-like it will just be new colored mutants anyway.
In all, a siege really would only be understandable if against something military like. ex: Mutant Base, or Volge encampment.
Or maybe they could make a squad of Echelon or E-rep as bad guys to go against.

Yeah, I'm pretty much done with zombie everything. Used to love vampires, too and please don't go all werewolf-hate 'em.

I do however like the foray into AIs and such as this is far more Sci Fi-like. The idea of adreno is also something more of today since there are adrenaline junkies-it's just that they do it by risking their lives.

I'd like it if they were the Volge, but I also could see Spirit Riders (introduce motorcycles in game) and even some shady E-rep types. But please, no cannibals.
