Actually, it was brought up in the Show a while ago. I believe it was episode 3, where we get introduced to Rinn, and it gets explained that I-raths introduced, what was a common cold or flu to them, and a deadly disease to humans. Thats why there was tension and fighting intown, and most iraths left and formed the Spirit Riders.

Think I'm gonna order out tonight, get me some calamari. ;D

How are you killing the Affected? My sniper rifle barely touches them. I have a pistol with fire effect that seems to work a lot better. What weapons work better?

Didn't get to play at all yesterday and when I logged in this morning after work I was right in the middle of a plague emergency in front of Iron Demon Ranch! It was awesome! Even with my fire-nano SAW they took some effort to put down, but they weren't overly annoying like 99ers. Once my SAW maxed out I switched to a bmg and siphon VOT auto fragger combo with a decoy build. Worked really well in the sieges. You gain so much XP, weapon XP and loot for about 15 minutes of plague slaying its insane!

Nope, that episode was discussing a different illness and meant to illustrate that Iraths don't vaccinate themselves. The disease was especially bad among IRATH kids who were forcibly vaccinated to save their lives, though this caused the adults to take up arms which led to a massacre of the Iraths.
