try using cloud storage, signing in and out, restarting the beta, or multiply attempts at logging in.

what if you never get the option to choose hard drive or cloud storage? Ive been trying the sign in and out method and restarting the beta but still no luck... but i will keep trying cause who likes a quitter!!?

not to sure about not having the choice, read somewhere that if you use a usb, that might work. Otherwise I would probably suggest looking around in the forums. Someone else suggested to uninstall then re install, but I'm not sure if that will delete it for good.

If you do delete and want to reinstall you can go to account management by pressing on the xbox guide button and going to download history, then you can redownload beta

After the server fix i'm really loving this game. I havn't had this much fun since BL2 and FC3 and can't wait for the release. I think the reason for skepticism is b/c most games are released in poor quality these days which is really dissapointing. I can't count how many forums i've been on during Betas with people telling other members "stop complaining it's only a Beta,the finished game will be better" only to purchase the game on release and find out they just bought a Beta. This seems to be the norm with publishers releasing unfinished games so i understand why people are losing faith or trust these days.

Seriously people... 95% of the posts on the Defiance forum is complaining.
This is a >BETA< !!! How many times must they say that it does not reflect the finished game play.
Of course the story is the same but this close to game release you really think they don't have most the kinks worked out? How many people are going to say they are going to get a refund on a pre-order because of lag and the server being down? Again, its a BETA!! Stop whining.

P.S. To all the people saying EGO's voice is annoying, live with it!! That is how you sound on the mic and others have to deal with you.

Yeah, I love it too. This game is really my cup of tea! I'm not playing the beta though, I'm on the alpha and I'm eagerly waiting for the servers to come back on!

The EGO's current voice is just a place holder. The official release will have an actual voice actor. It's like with Wheatly, when they first showed him in Portal 2 he had a different voice than the final product.
