Seriously people... 95% of the posts on the Defiance forum is complaining.
This is a >BETA< !!! How many times must they say that it does not reflect the finished game play.
Of course the story is the same but this close to game release you really think they don't have most the kinks worked out? How many people are going to say they are going to get a refund on a pre-order because of lag and the server being down? Again, its a BETA!! Stop whining.

P.S. To all the people saying EGO's voice is annoying, live with it!! That is how you sound on the mic and others have to deal with you.

If it isn't constructive and posted on beta feedback, they should erase it.

You're right, it's a Beta, that currently has a major issue (login error), that if left unsolved before the end of the BETA, will likely make it into the live version, seeing as we're just over a week from release. If this bug isn't server side, it'll be on the disc, because the game is already in production stages. This means it needs to be in the "day one" patch, which with the Microsoft QA, probably has already been submitted, or is due for submission within the next few days. If it's not in the day one patch, that means people that are/become affected by the bug, have to wait even longer.

Consider this, this was only suppose to be a two day beta, and quite a few people haven't even been able to login. We aren't even testing the most recent Beta Build, how many more major issues might exist that we won't know about until after everyone's forked over their money?

People have a right to be concerned and upset.

That said, what I got to play of it, was awesome, I'm a little meh at the rather repetitive quests. Also very confused why I didn't get a LMG in any of the story missions before a second SMG.

Edit: Also, I don't like that we aren't getting to see what kind of rewards we can expect to see from the Arkfalls. I love the weapons so far though, at least those I've used.

I can't wait till the 2nd, the difference between 2p.m. friday and 11 p.m. friday was 100 fold. I have thoroughly enjoyed 99% of my time spent in the world since then.

Constructive criticism? That's not really wont most forums are about. I realize everyone's concern that with the servers down they can't play the beta to report bugs to be fixed and what not. What I do not understand is how you can say they are in production stage, which makes sense with only 9 or so days left. Yet no one seems to think that they are giving a beta not for bugs but to test the servers. This is xbox it handles battlefield and call of duty, not an MMO like this.

I have been saying this from the start. It was nothing but a bunch of pure idiocy in this forum but what do you expect when you give a bunch of console children a free pass to a work in progress. Now it seems like those people either moved on or FINALLY got the point. The forums seem to be a lot more about the game now than about stupid people being upset that they were born stupid.

Sorry about all of the .stupid's. in my post. I get outright angry whenever I think about what those morons were coming up with to complain about. This post would be nothing but swears but those get blocked.

I am having some fun with the game so far. Had to stop for a bit because apparently my hitbox would not move with me when I got off my quad? so those Melee mutants would just run up to my Quad, hit at nothing and no matter where I ran I would take damage and die.

Once the voice chat and the polish of the release comes out, with the epic battles I think it will be a blast for the price.

I like the complaints that are in the following types of formats:

"This game will fail without additional content."

"There is no end-game this will surely go bust."

"I believe the map is small without a larger area this game is finished."

"I cannot login/launch/load I'm going to cancel my pre-order and get all my X number of friends to do the same!"

It's like a record on repeat when if they took half a second they'd see the other 900 posts already addressing or speaking on the issues. I think this does fall a little at Trion's feet though not setting proper expectations for the Beta on the consoles as far as the age of it and so on. Of course this could be due to contract obligations too. The pains of doing business sometimes.

Sure there are a few issues here and there but generally speaking have enjoyed both alpha and beta testing and am really looking forward to the release.

The Beta started with 11 days until release. The "OMG ITZ ONLY A BETA" arguement is getting old.

Its not just BETA its actually a old version of the game. This isnt a beta like crysis or BF3 this is literally a closed beta and is what QA players would have seen a few month back. Chances are 99% of these bugs and downfalls have been patched in the 'day release' patch.

So yeah it is only a BETA version of the game.

As long as the actual game lets people play, the service is still down for PC players, after the 5pm PDT patch, and will not start, people are getting insane about it already, that cuts a day and a half from beta time basically.
