I never said "zomg your internetz are teh suxx0rz" but once a server begins to get overloaded, it begins to allocate priority to the users with the strongest, most stable connections. This helps alleviate stress on the server.
The hardware on the xbox console (especially for the slow kids talking about its RAM) has about as much to do with connectivity issues as a cow has to do with bacon.
So yes, it is time to get your pitchforks and torches, but use them to corral Trion into upgrading their xbox NA servers instead of running around blaming xbox hardware.
Except most people on here are complaining about low frame rate...

I know the difference between hardware lag and server lag, people are experiencing both. When you're getting stuttering explosions, and a general low FPS, it's clearly hardware.

When you're experiencing rubber-banding, rapid positional changes, and sudden damage spikes, it's clearly connectivity lag, and will often result in client disconnects. This can often be due to the hardware's inability to keep up with the very low-latency that a game like this requires, but is often the result of underlying network congestion. It depends on the hardware, and software, in question, and how efficiently it can process the data.

Your Challenger won't drive? You're probably in the passenger seat.
Can't sell/delete an item? Check all of your loadouts, it's likely still equipped.
Auction house? Why? It'll just render bits purchased lock boxes pointless, and weapons are mostly equal anyway.
Gear/enemy progression? No thanks, it'll only render 90% of the content trivial when you reach the highest zone.

Excellent attempt, but you missed a quote in your string.

Cheap = weaker and less stable.

and this goes back to what the OP originally said:

With all the choices of weapons the best one is explosive weaponry since things are clumped up and this just makes special effects everywhere which causes my 8 year old hardware, Xbox 360, to be lagging.

I demand this be fixed immediately. It's atrocious that with so much going on that my 360 can not handle this, there's nothing wrong with the console, it has years ahead of it, it's the game. Trion do your job
talking about explosions and special effects...sounds like hardware lag to me.

I dislike explosives. They are jarring and obscure vision--and WAY overused. Sometimes I think people use them just to annoy everyone else. I had no trouble scoring second using assault rifles. No need for rockets/dets. But, it's a problem with all open world situations in MMO's (more ppl, more lag) If the XBOX is capable of rendering all that, I'd say it's doing pretty good. That's a lot to deal with. It's not possible to upgrade your hardware and rewriting the core code isn't going to happen. What do you want? To be dropped into your own personal instance?

Ah yes, the system that freezes when playing ME3 vs collectors and locks up on skyrim so as to never be able to finish a full game. Brilliant suggestion I say... absolutely brilliant.

Skyrim was just terrible on both consoles. more so on PS3 because of the dedicated ram vs shared ram with the Xbox.. and Bethesda were too lazy to correctly code for the PS3 OS and ask for Sony's help
